Florence Dean was an avid cook who inspired others and gave selflessly - often through her baking. She is best known for her creamy mac & cheese and practical jokes. After Florence's death, I was tasked with creating a professional collection of her favorite recipes that embodies her playful spirit and serves as a memoir and tribute to her life.
Solution
In order to embody Flo's lightheartedness, the logo focuses on a playful typeface and illustrative qualities. The dark purple and light green color palette also emphasizes the natural ingredients used in her recipes. The cookbook's layout is kept simple for readers to easily understand and follow, and for an extra special touch, Florence’s very own cooking tips are highlighted throughout the book.
